Northern Resources Wind Energy Joint Venture for Saskatchewan

Located near Swift Current Saskatchewan, the Excelsior wind park will boost Canada’s position among international wind energy producers. The wind farm project is adjacent to the Centennial Wind Power Facility, an 83 turbine wind farm constructed by Saskatchewan Power Corporation in 2008.

Construction is scheduled to begin in the summer of 2010 with initial operation in 2011. Excelsior Operating Ltd. Has entered into a joint venture agreement with Windcor Power Systems to build and operate the project.

There is no question: Greater reliance on wind power is a win/ win for consumers, businesses, the economy and the country as a whole.
