Vert-I Go Wind Energy, L.L.C. has reached a preliminary agreement with the City of Clovis, New Mexico, to purchase six acres of land and obtain an option on and additional thirty-four acres for the purpose of developing a wind farm using a proprietary new vertical-axis wind turbine technology exclusively licensed to Vert-I-Go Wind Energy, L.L.C. for installations nationally and internationally.
Additionally, the company plans to establish a manufacturing and assembly facility in Clovis to service its local activities as well as its national and international needs.
Vert-I-Go Wind Energy, L.L.C. selected Clovis for its initial wind farm development because of its unique mix of strong wind resources, proactive community leaders, efficient rail and infrastructure, and quality local suppliers.
The company indicated it will break ground on the project in the first half of the year.
Vert-I-Go Wind Energy, L.L.C., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Abundant Energy, L.L.C., of Plano, Texas, announced today that it has reached a preliminary agreement with the City of Clovis, New Mexico, to purchase six acres of land south of the city landfill and obtain an option for an additional contiguous thirty-four acres for the purpose of developing a five megawatt wind farm utilizing its proprietary mid-sized, vertical-axis wind turbine technology.
Additionally, the company plans to establish a manufacturing and assembly facility in Clovis to service its local activities and serve as its U.S. turbine production headquarters.

Because Vert-I-Go wind turbines work with distribution lines (not transmission lines) for grid access, and since our turbines do not rise high enough to cause air base radar interference, we believe our technology paves the way for successful targeted wind farms in Clovis.”
Vert-I-go Wind Energy, L.L.C. also owns another six acre land plot nearby the new property and has a similar option for an additional twenty-four adjoining acres. The company anticipates breaking ground during the first half of the year.
