ArcLight Sells French Wind Energy Assets to AXA Private Equity

ArcLight Capital Partners, LLC , through its wholly-owned French affiliate NeoElectra Group S.A.S. sold its French wind farm portfolio to Kallista Energy, a renewable company owned by AXA Private Equity Infrastructure Funds; AXA PE earlier acquired Kallista from Babcock & Brown on July 31st 2009.

NEG´s portfolio consisted of four wind farms totaling 28.5 MW in Brittany: the Plouye wind farm was put into commercial operation in February 2005 and was powered by Neg Micon NM48, 750 kWs wind turbines, and the Trebry, Lanfains and Le Haut Corlay wind farms began commercial operation in January 2006 and operated with Vestas NM64C 1.5MW wind turbines.

NEG sold these assets in order to concentrate on building up its existing cogeneration and district heating business in France.
