The 60 wind turbines Spasovo wind farm, with a nameplate capacity of 150 MW to 180 MW, will stomach BGL 6.5 million in 2010 and a further BGL 292.6 million and BGL 186 million in the following two years, respectively. The wind energy project will create 20 jobs. Construction works are scheduled for completion in 2011.

Since January 2010, InvestBulgaria Agency has issued two more wind power certificates. In April 2010, it issued a certificate for IVTS Bulgaria VP5, which plans to build a BGL 11 million wind energy project in Krushari. Furthermore, PCC Izvorsko will build a BGL 78.2 million wind farm near Varna, on the northern Black Sea coast.
