Tour of electric vehicles

A test center will be set up in priority for Renault’s invited guests, i.e., members of the public who reserved a Fluence Z.E or a Kangoo Z.E. on www.renault-ze.com, plus professionals,

Guests will also be able to attend thematic workshops about the Z.E. charging stations, range, connected services, engine and battery.

The entire Renault Z.E. range will have travelled across 11 European countries in seven months, bringing all those visiting the test drive centers the chance to discover the driving pleasure provided by our electric cars with lithium ion batteries (1,000 visitors are expected in France).

Renault is organizing this operation to give potential customers a chance to preview Renault’s electric car with lithium ion batteries in real-life driving conditions ahead of its launch.

Renault is supplying six electric vehicles – 3 Fluence Z.E.* and 3 Kangoo Z.E. models – for guests to test-drive on the open road and in the city, i.e., in real-life conditions. Anyone who reserves a vehicle on www.renault-ze.com will have an opportunity to drive the vehicle of their choice for four kilometers, accompanied by an expert who can answer any questions. If there are any time slots left, test-drives will also be offered to members of the public who have not reserved. The plan is to schedule about 100 test-drives a day in France.

Educational thematic workshops will be held to inform potential customers about the charging stations, range, connected services, the engine and the battery. The four Renault Z.E. models that have already been revealed to the public – Fluence Z.E., Kangoo Z.E., Twizy and ZOE PREVIEW (except in Marseille) – will be on display nearby. Experts from the Renault Z.E. team will be on hand to answer any questions.

The Z.E. Tour will visit six French cities

May 31 and June 1 in Bordeaux,
June 6 in Lille,
June 8, 9 and 11 in Paris (June 8 and 9 are reserved for professionals),
June 14 in Strasbourg,
June 17 in Lyon,
June 20 in Marseille.

The Z.E. Tour will cover 11 countries: Portugal, Spain, France, Italy, Germany, the UK, Ireland, Belgium, the Netherlands, Austria and Switzerland

Renault Fluence Z.E.
Renault Fluence Z.E. is a large sedan, priced in line with the equivalent fuel model (minus the €5,000 eco bonus). It will be launched in fall 2011 in France from € 21,300 incl-VAT. Battery rental starts at €79 incl-VAT per month.

Renault Kangoo Z.E.

Kangoo Z.E. is a 100% electric van for small businesses which will be launched on the market in fall 2011 from €15,000 ex-VAT (minus the €5,000 eco bonus). Battery rental starts at €72 ex-VAT per month.
