Building Turbines Announces New Members to Its Corporate and Advisory Boards

Building Turbines, Inc., (PINKSHEETS: BLDW), a developer and manufacturer of rooftop mounted wind turbines for commercial buildings, announced it has reinforced the company’s governance team with the appointment of Bernie Johnson to its Board of Directors and Thomas Mezger to its Advisory Board.

Bernie Johnson currently serves as president and CEO of the Austin Green Energy Group. The mission of the Austin Green Energy Group is to enhance our community and protect our environment through activities that preserve and conserve our natural resources with a focus on promoting education and the building of solutions for efficient energy utilization.

Thomas Mezger brings a wealth of experience in emerging technologies. Mr. Mezger has served as CFO for Valence Technology Inc, a NASDAQ listed public company and manufacturer of advanced Li-Ion batteries. Prior to Valence, he served as CFO and VP of Operations for Enhanced Messaging System, a wireless networking systems start-up. Mr. Mezger also has extensive global financial experience supporting sales, distribution, and manufacturing with Motorola and Precision Castparts Corporation.
