Wind energy in Ukraine: wind farm in Crimea

The Council of Ministers of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea intends to allocate 107 hectares in Pervomaiskyi district, Sakskyi district, and Leninskyi district for construction of wind power stations to three companies operating within an investment project "Wind Farms of Ukraine."

Ukrainian News learned this from resolutions No.255-258 of the Council of Ministers of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea dated April 25.

The Crimean government gave its go-ahead to the companies for development of land organization projects concerning allocation of land plots.

In particular, the Council of Ministers intends to allocate 53 hectares near the village of Aleskseyevka in Pervomaiskyi district to the limited liability company Wind Park Steppe, including 39 hectares for construction of a wind power station on the terms of leasehold and 14 hectares for laying electric overhead lines and cables on the easement terms.

The Crimean government intends to allocate 8 hectares near the village of Shtormove in Sakskyi district to the limited liability company Wind Park Saki, including 6 hectares for construction of the wind power station on the terms of leasehold and 2 hectares for laying electric overhead lines and cables on the easement terms.

The Crimean government intends to allocate 46 hectares near the villages of Ostanine, Novonikolayivka, and Marfovka to the limited liability company Wind Park Kerch, including 32 hectares for construction of wind power stations in the terms of leasehold and 14 hectares for laying electric overhead lines and cables on the easement terms.

The period of the leasehold will be 49 years. As Ukrainian News reported, the Wind Farms of Ukraine eyes construction of a network of wind power stations in the Crimea with a total capacity of 1 GW.
