GCL-Poly sells 92 MW of solar power for $266mn

Chinese company GCL-Poly Energy Holdings Ltd. has sold a solar-power development unit to an unidentified U.S. buyer for $266 million, according to Bloomberg.

 

The projects, two solar photovoltaic (PV) farms in California that total 92 MW in capacity, are expected to be completed by the end of the year. The projects are known as Alpaugh 50 and Alpaugh North, and the buyer is a New York-based renewable-energy developer, according to a statement by GCL-Poly.
