North Carolina Wind Energy Supply Chain Workshop Announced

Manufacturers interested in learning about the opportunities created by joining the wind energy supply chain are encouraged to attend the North Carolina Wind Energy Supply Chain Workshop on Tuesday, September 18 at NC State University.

This one-day workshop— made possible by a partnership between the NC State University Industrial Extension Services, BlueGreen Alliance Foundation, GLWN, NIST Manufacturing Extension Partnership, Southeastern Coastal Wind Coalition, North Carolina Solar Center and the North Carolina Sustainable Energy Association— will discuss the future of America’s onshore and offshore wind industry.

Companies that operate a foundry, forge, machine shop or fabricating plant, or those who manufacture products like power electronics, control systems, hydraulics, composites, fasteners, brakes, blades, nacelles, ladders, elevators, hoists, fire-suppression, lighting or metrological equipment are encouraged to attend the workshop.
