AWEA’s Jana Adams honored by Trending 40

We’d like to congratulate AWEA Senior Vice President of Member Value and Experience Jana Adams, who was recently named to the 2017 Trending 40 Association Innovators list. She will be recognized at an event on March 22.

At AWEA, Jana and the member value and experience team have led the significant evolution and innovation of WINDPOWER, North America’s largest annual wind energy event.

WINDPOWER has shifted from a traditional exhibition/conference duo to a fully integrated event.  It features a tradeshow floor with five education stations and dozens of private meeting rooms. This innovative design enables attendees to move seamlessly between business appointments, exhibition browsing and industry education.

And new this year, the show floor will feature a custom committee meeting space that will enable attendees to efficiently participate in the important committee work of the association.

Besides ushering in the integrated attendee experience, Jana also helped develop and implement the all-access registration pass, enhancing the value of participation in WINDPOWER while lowering the cost for thousands of attendees.
