Dominican Republic inaugurates La Victoria photovoltaic plant with 58.48 MWac and 64.70 MWp capacity

The vice president of the Dominican Republic, Raquel Peña, participated in the inauguration ceremony of the La Victoria photovoltaic plant, which has an installed power of 58.48 MWac and 64.70 MWp.

Located in the municipality of Santo Domingo Norte, the plant is a joint venture between BAS Corporation and Dominion, with an approximate investment of $82 million. The facility extends over 102 hectares and has 97,728 photovoltaic modules, 272 inverters, 8 LV/MV step-up transformers and one MV/HT step-up transformer.

The La Victoria photovoltaic plant is expected to enter commercial operation in September.
