Nordex announces strong order intake of 3.4 GW of wind power in the first half of 2024

Order intake for wind turbines in the first half of 2024 increased by 27% year-on-year to 3,357 MW.
Stable prices continued with an ASP of 0.89 million euros per MW in the first half of 2024.

In the first half of 2024, the Nordex Group secured 3,357 MW of orders in the Projects segment (excluding the services business), a growth of 27 percent compared to the previous year’s figure (1st half of 2023: 2,641 MW ). Of this amount, 1,271 MW were registered in the second quarter of 2024 (Q2/2023: 1,620 MW). The average selling price in euros per megawatt of capacity (ASP) continued to remain at a stable level of 0.89 million euros/MW in the first half of this year (2Q 2024: 0.96 euros) compared to the first half of 2023 (second quarter of 2023: 0.96 euros). 0.89).

Between January and June 2024, customers ordered a total of 602 wind turbines for projects in 17 countries. The strongest individual markets were Germany, South Africa, Lithuania and Türkiye.
