Repsol-Puertollano will build a self-consumption photovoltaic plant

It will occupy an area of ??93 hectares distributed in 88,972 units of 540 wp that make a total of 48 megawatts of power.

The Official State Gazette (BOE) of this Monday has included the announcement of the application for the self-consumption project of a photovoltaic solar plant for the Repsol Industrial Complex in Puertollano. In addition, the company requests a hybrid storage module (BESS Autoconsumo Puertollano) with its private evacuation infrastructure. In the project, called ‘Autoconsumo Puertollano Refino’, the multi-energy company intends to invest 29,657,204.85 euros, that is, almost 30 million euros, distributed as follows:

  • Photovoltaic solar installation ‘Autoconsumo Puertollano’: 23,136,270.42 euros.
  • ‘Autoconsumo Puertollano’ 132/30 kV transformer substation: 1,655,848.63 euros.
  • ‘Autoconsumo Puertollano’ 132 kV high voltage overhead line: 268,028.08 euros.
  • ‘Autoconsumo Puertollano’ BESS 4,597,057.72 euros.

To this end, Repsol has requested prior administrative and construction authorisation from the Ministry of Territorial Policy for the aforementioned project, which will occupy a surface area of ??93 hectares distributed in 88,972 540 wp units that make a total of 48 megawatts of power.
