Electric Vehicles Coming to Virginia

Colonial Auto Center is one of the first places in the area to have electric car charging stations for electric cars like the Nissan Leaf. But if you’re wondering about the practicality of electric vehicles, Colonial’s Owner Carter Myers says you have nothing to fear.

"You plug your cell phone in every night before you go to bed, you just plug your car in when you get home, and it’s all fueled up when you leave in the morning," you said.

The charging stations are fully operational but due to delays in the manufacturing process the electric car Nissan Leaf is not expected to roll into Albemarle County until spring of next year.
