5th World Conference on Photovoltaic Energy Conversion will take place in Valencia, Spain

The 5th World Conference on Photovoltaic Energy Conversion will unite the 25th European Photovoltaic Solar Energy Conference and Exhibition, the 36th US IEEE Photovoltaic Specialists Conference and the 20th Asia/Pacific PV Science and Engineering Conference. We look forward to welcoming the global scientific and industrial PV Community in September 2010 in Valencia, Spain.

Background:

For many years now, the European Photovoltaic Solar Energy Conference and Exhibition has combined a very nameable international Scientific Conference with an Industry Exhibition. Since 2004 the EU PVSEC takes place every year. Over 5 days of Conference and 4 days of Exhibition, new products and technical innovations from all areas of photovoltaics and from all over the world are on show.

The 24th European Photovoltaic Solar Energy Conference and Exhibition EU PVSEC 2009 will be held in Hamburg, Germany, from 21-25 September 2009. The PV Solar Conference is expected to attract some 4,000 participants, and the accompanying industry exhibition around 40,000 visitors. 943 exhibitors will be presenting new products and technical solutions from the field of photovoltaics. The EU PVSEC, which is held at different venues throughout Europe, ranks as the world’s leading event specialized in photovoltaics.

The EU PVSEC is supported by European and international organizations such as The European Commission, UNESCO – United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organization Natural Sciences Sector, WCRE – World Council for Renewable Energy and IPVEA – International Photovoltaic Equipment Association and by an institutional promotional cooperation with the European Photovoltaic Industry Association (EPIA). The Technical Programme is coordinated by the European Commission, DG Joint Research Centre. The EU PVSEC is realised by WIP-Renewable Energies.
