Coulomb Technologies Prepares for Growth

Bret Sewell is responsible for overseeing worldwide sales, business development and marketing. Greg Podshadley is responsible for managing the supply chain of Coulomb’s ChargePoint ® Networked Charging Stations for electric vehicles.

Bret Sewell brings to Coulomb more than 25 years of experience in CEO, general management and senior executive roles in both startup and established companies spanning systems, software and semiconductor product areas. As President of SnapTrack and Senior Vice President at Qualcomm’s Semiconductor Division, Mr. Sewell spearheaded the mobile location systems market, developing and deploying systems that today power location based services at 50 service providers and over 800 million mobile handsets worldwide.

SnapTrack was sold to Qualcomm in 2000 for $1 billion. Mr. Sewell also served as CEO of Venturi Wireless, a leader in WAN optimization systems, and CEO of Kiwi Networks, an early stage wireless broadband systems company. Earlier in his career, Mr. Sewell built and led international divisions for Octel Communications and Aspect Telecommunications.

Mr. Sewell holds an MBA from Wharton, an MA in International Studies from the Lauder Institute of International Management, and a Harvard BA. He is professionally fluent in Japanese and lived and worked in Asia for five years.

Greg Podshadley joins Coulomb from Nokia where he was vice president and general manager responsible for their enterprise class security firewall products and services. Prior to Nokia, Podshadley has been instrumental in managing the explosive growth of small and large companies including: SGI, Ciena and ShoreTel among others. Podshadley holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, Calif.
