Indowind Energy receives approval for 18 MW wind farm at Chitradurga, Karnataka

Indowind Energy receives host country approval from Ministry of Environment and Forests. Indowind Energy has received the host country approval from Ministry of Environment and Forests, Government of India for the 18 MW wind power plant at Chitradurga, Karnataka.

This is the last milestone requited for submission to UNFCCC for consideration for the issuance of carbon emission certificates. The wind power project is estimated to generate about 32,000 CERs per year.
