RMT Launches Renewable Energy Construction in Canada

After entering the wind energy design/build market in 1996, RMT quickly became a top provider of engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services in the U.S. Their EPC project pipeline currently includes over 420 MW of wind power and 340 MW of solar energy, including the recently announced 18 MW Pilesgrove Solar facility in New Jersey.

Members of RMT’s renewable energy team will once again participate in the Canadian Wind Energy Association’s (CanWEA’s) Annual Conference, November 1-3, in Montreal, Quebec. CanWEA reports that Canada is projected to end 2010 with 754 MW of new wind energy capacity. This will bring Canada’s total installed wind energy capacity to 4,073 MWs, enough power to meet the needs of over 1.4 million homes annually.
