GWS Technologies to Develop Colorado Plateau Wind Energy Project

GWS Technologies, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: GWSC) announced that it is evaluating sites for a proposed 1500 acre commercial wind farm under development northeast of Flagstaff, Arizona. Arizona utilities are required to generate 15 percent of their power from renewable energy sources, such as wind turbines and solar power by 2025 to meet state requirements.

In addition to the wind energy potential on the Colorado Plateau, the Company believes that proximity to new transmission lines being built in the area offers tremendous opportunities for the development of utility-scale wind power in Northern Arizona.

The company is also evaluating and actively seeking suppliers and joint venture partners to provide electrical engineering, construction, equipment, crane services, and ongoing turbine maintenance for the project.

GWS Technologies, Inc. is a developer of wind power and solar energy through joint ventures with landowners and investors. Its business model is to assist the landowner in the design, planning/zoning, and construction/installation of wind turbines and solar arrays on suitable properties and generate electricity that can be sold to end-users and utility companies, allowing the company to participate in long-term power purchase agreement revenues.
